BAFTA 2024, trionfa Oppenheimer: ecco tutti i vincitori
Il 18 febbraio si è tenuta presso il Royal Festival Hall nel complesso di Southbank Centre di Londra la 77esima edizione dei BAFTA, i premi assegnati dalla British Academy of Film and Television Arts alle migliori produzioni cinematografiche del 2023.
I BAFTA Awards rientrano tra i premi cinematografici più importanti al mondo e come di consueto precedono gli Oscar che quest'anno si terranno il prossimo 10 marzo.
Durante questa edizione 2024 a trionfare sono stati Oppenheimer e Povere creature!, il film di Nolan ha ottenuto sette vittorie su tredici nomination, portando a casa importanti premi come Miglior attore protagonista, Miglior attore non protagonista, Miglior regia e Miglior film.
Il film di Yorgos Lanthimos invece, ha ottenuto 5 BAFTA su 11 nomination, tra cui spicca quello per la Miglior attrice protagonista consegnato ad Emma Stone.
The Holdovers – Lezioni di vita di Alexander Payne si è aggiudicato due premi, incluso quello per la Miglior attrice non protagonista andato a Da'Vine Joy Randolph, mentre il celebrato film di co-produzione anglo-polacca La zona d’interesse, diretto da Jonathan Glazer, si è aggiudicato 3 premi: Miglior sonoro, Miglior film internazionale e Miglior film britannico.
A non portare a casa nessun premio sono stati diversi titoli, tra i quali anche alcuni inaspettati esclusi: Killers of the Flower Moon (9 nomination), Estranei (6 nomination) , Past Lives (3 nomination) , Maestro (7 nomination) e Barbie (5 nomination).
